Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) is an atmospheric puzzle platformer developed in collaboration with the Iñupiat, an Alaska Native people. Drawing inspiration from a traditional story passed down through generations, the game follows the epic journey of Nuna and Fox as they search for the source of an eternal blizzard that threatens their existence.
Guide both characters through frozen tundra, treacherous ice floes, underwater caverns, and confront both recognizable and unfamiliar enemies.
Never Alone has been recognized on over 75 "Best of 2014" lists and has won awards such as "Best Debut Game" at the 2015 BAFTA Games Awards, "Game of the Year," and "Most Significant Impact" at the 2015 Games for Change Awards. The game was developed with input from nearly 40 Alaska Native elders, storytellers, and community members.
